What is a banner ad?

It is a type of advertising available on the Internet. Banner Ads usually consist of graphics and text and come in a variety of standard sizes. The graphic image is typically linked to the advertiser's website.

 

Why are banner ads important?

Banner ads offers a marketing solution that is scalable for the needs of each individual business. You can start small with just one banner or just a few banners, or you can get several banners to accommodate your needs. You can run campaigns easily through a variety of services, many of which provide details about views and clicks, to help you get the most out of your advertising dollars.

 

How can I use a banner ad?

Banner ads can be used on pay-per-click (PPC) services such as Google AdWords (also known as the Google Display Network), Yahoo! Search Marketing, or Bing AdCenter or on cost-per-mile (CPM) networks such as Casale Media or Tribal Fusion. They can also be used in banner exchange services in which the advertiser displays banner ads for other advertisers on their own website in exchange for having their banner ad displayed on the other advertisers' websites. Many websites also sell advertising space on their sites where banner ads can be displayed. Banner ads can also be shared on your own website along with appropriate link code to encourage your own customers to promote your website.

 

Are banner ads appropriate for my business?

How do I order my banner(s)?

Add the banners you wish to purchase to your shopping cart. When you have all the items you wish to purchase in your cart, click the Continue button and proceed through checkout. Once you complete payment and have been returned to the site from the payment gateway, you will be sent your receipt via email. This email will contain the link to our online banner information form. Please complete the form as thoroughly as possible. Once we have received your banner information form submission, you can expect to receive an email from us with your new banners within the turnaround time you selected for each banner/package purchased.

 

How do I provide you with the information for my banner?

Upon completion of your purchase, you will be provided with a link to our online banner information form. This link will be included in the email receipt from our website.

 

What types of information will I need to provide for my banner?

Our banner information form will ask for details including preferred colors, logo graphic, product images (if applicable), and other specific photos or stock images, as well as ad copy, slogan, any specific text you wish to have included, and the general purpose of your banner ad. We will also ask for the link the banner will direct to.

 

How quickly will I receive my banner(s)?

Our typical turnaround time is 3-5 business days, based on current workload. If you wish to receive your banner(s) more quickly, we offer Expedited 2-day service and Priority 1-day service options with each banner purchase. Turnaround time begins once we receive all information necessary for the creation of your banner(s).

 

How will my banner(s) be delivered?

We will send your banners via email to the email address on your account. Banners will be sent as email attachments. If you wish, we can also upload the files via FTP to the server of your choice. Please provide this information on the banner information form when ordering.

 

What is a PSD file? Why would I want it?

A PSD file is the Adobe Photoshop document used in the creation of your web banner. It contains all the source data in layers for the banner image we create. With the PSD file, the image can be modified. The JPG or GIF or PNG file of your banner is exported from this PSD file. Most graphics designers and website developers use Photoshop. You may wish to have a copy of the PSD file as a backup of your banner in case you ever need to get another copy of the banner or make changes to it. We keep copies of all PSD files and banners we create and encourage our clients to contact us for any additional banners or modifications they may need.

 

Can you make my banner animated?

What is the difference between a static banner and an animated banner?

A static banner has no moving or flashing elements. Animated banners, on the other hand, have changing or blinking text or other moving elements.

 

Do you offer Flash banners?

Yes, we do! Please select from the animated banners that we offer and choose the SWF Animation option.

 

What is a FLA file? Why would I want it?

A FLA file is the Adobe Flash source file used to create the animated Flash banner. With the FLA file, the flash image can be modified. The SWF file of your banner is exported from the FLA file. You may wish to have a copy of the FLA file as a backup of your banner in case you ever need to get another copy of the banner or make changes to it. We keep copies of all FLA files and banners we create and encourage our clients to contact us for any additional banners or modifications they may need.

 

If I'm not satisfied with my banner upon initial receipt, can I request changes?

Yes, you can request changes to your initial banner. We allow for two passes of changes with your purchase, with additional passes at our discretion. Most clients are satisfied with their banner upon initial delivery or after the first pass of changes.

 

What types of changes can/can't I request?

You cannot request a different banner size or completely different text or concept. You also cannot request animation if you did not purchase an animated banner. We consider those types of requests to be a different banner entirely and subject to standard pricing. Beyond that, you may request changes to color, positioning, etc.

 

Will you provide link code for using my banner(s)?

If we are provided FTP access to upload the banner(s) to your website server, we can provide link code for displaying your banner(s) on any website. You can provide FTP information to us on the banner information form.

 

I want banners for a Google AdWords campaign. Can you help?

Yes, we can! We offer a Google AdWords package with every banner size available on Google. If you want individual banners, check the item description to verify that the banner is Google AdWords ready. We follow Google AdWords specs as provided by Google as of 08/01/2013.

 

Can you help me with my pay-per-click (PPC)/cost-per-mile (CPM)/banner exchange campaign?

If you need assistance with distributing your banners through various pay-per-click (PPC)/cost-per-mile (CPM)/banner exchange services, we can help. We can set up your accounts and campaigns with various providers including Google AdWords, Yahoo! Search Marketing, Bing AdCenter, Tribal Fusion, Casale Media, and others. I purchased a banner package. Can each banner have a different design concept?

All banners within a banner package will have a single common design concept. Larger banners may display additional content and details than small banners. If you wish to have a different design on each banner, please purchase banners individually. You may also wish to utilize our Pick-A-Size package which allows you to choose 3 banners of any with the same design concept.

 

I don't have a logo. Is one included with my banner purchase?

While logo design is not included with your purchase, we do include entering the text of your business name or domain name within the graphics. It will be styled to coordinate with the rest of the graphics in the file.

 

I lost/misplaced my banner file. Can you re-send it to me?

We would be more than happy to assist you. Please complete our contact form with your request.

 

I would like a banner in a custom size. Can you accommodate me?

Please provide us with the details about the banner you would like to have us create on the quote form at the bottom of this page, and we will provide you with a quote.

 

Do you create banners for adult/pornography/gambling services/websites?

No, we do not. If we receive an order for a banner with content of these types, we will cancel and refund the order. We reserve the right to reject any project for any reason whatsoever. Customer will be granted a complete refund.

 

My banner appears in your portfolio, but I would like it to be removed.

We can remove your banner from our portfolio upon request. Please complete our contact form with your request.
